Getting Started

Tap the + button on the Recipe tab, then paste any URL from a recipe website, TikTok, or Instagram. MyCookMate will automatically extract the recipe title, ingredients, steps, and image. The import usually takes just a few seconds.

Go to the List tab and tap "Add Recipes." Select the recipes you want to cook and tap done. MyCookMate will consolidate all ingredients into a single list, combining duplicates automatically.

Open the Meal Plan tab to see a weekly calendar. Tap any day to assign recipes to breakfast, lunch, or dinner slots. You can also generate a grocery list directly from your meal plan.

Account & Subscription

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → MyCookMate to manage or cancel your subscription at any time.

Yes! MyCookMate offers a free trial so you can explore all features before subscribing. No credit card required to start the trial.

Your recipes are always yours. If your subscription lapses, you can still view your saved recipes. You'll need an active subscription to import new recipes or access premium features.

Troubleshooting

Some websites use formats that are harder to parse. Try copying the recipe URL directly from your browser's address bar and pasting it again. If the issue persists, contact us at support@mycookmate.io and we'll look into it.

First, try closing and reopening the app. If that doesn't help, check your internet connection. You can also try deleting and reinstalling the app — your data is safely backed up to the cloud and will be restored on login.
